Sample Assignment 1 — Final project for Introduction to German Culture.  Students were asked to creatively interpret a German cultural topic covered in class and then write an essay in German explaining their artistic choices.  You can see one student’s tribute to Bertolt Brecht’s “Erinnerung an die Marie A.” here.

Sample Assignment 2 — Audio project for Intermediate German.  Students created German radio travel reports on a destination of their choice.
